US President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have earned enough delegates to win their parties presidential nominations and are set for a Presidential Rematch in November, CNN reports.
The two 2020 election contenders will provide the US with its first rematch in a presidential election for 70 years.
Significantly, incumbency gave Biden a due advantage over others as he faced no serious challengers for the Democratic nomination.
Meanwhile, Trump remains a very popular candidate with the Republican voter base, which has propelled him to victory in multiple primaries over well-funded rivals.
The US presidential election will be held on 5 November 2024.
