Kano State Government has accused former governor of the state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his wife Hafsat Umar, Umar Abdullahi Umar and five other persons of eight count charges including bribery , misappropriation and diversion of funds among others.
This was outlined in court document dated 3rd April, 2024.
Respondents in the suit are and not exclusive to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Hafsat Umar, Abubakar Bawuro, Umar Abdullahi Umar, Jibrilla Muhammad, Lamash Properties Ltd, Safari Textiles Ltd and Lesage General Enterprises.
