Vice President Kashim Shettima is set to attend the grand launch of the Monoliza Sport Centre, slated for April 27 in Abuja alongside other government officials.
The Managing Director of Monoliza Centre, Mr Mohammed Jammal, made this known in a statement in Abuja on Sunday.
According to Jammal, the event would mark a significant milestone in the capital city’s leisure and sports scene.
“An exciting chapter in Abuja’s recreational landscape is set to unfold as Monoliza Sport Centre prepares for its grand launch on Saturday, April 27.” He said.
He explained that the centre located at between Asokoro, Garki and Central Area, would be the epitome of excitement, drawing a diverse crowd of sports enthusiasts and fun-seekers from across the capital city and other parts of the country.
Jammal added that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike will serve as the Guest of Honour, and the Minister of Sports Development, Sen. John Enoh will be a special guest.
Other special guest include, Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Ohanenye, and the Minister of Youth, Dr Jamila Ibrahim.
He said the centre would have a sports arena, including running track, swimming pool, multipurpose playground for basketball, volleyball, Padel Tennis, tennis courts, mini-golf court, horse riding, PaintBalling, Amusement Park and a massive events center of over 600 people.
“This comprehensive array of facilities underscores Monoliza Sport Centre’s commitment to providing a holistic recreational experience for visitors of all ages and interests.” He concluded.
