Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed today, Wednesday, May 1, that the federal government intends to pay N2.75 billion as compensation to property owners impacted by the legitimate demolition for the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
This announcement was made during a stakeholders meeting in Lagos.
According to Umahi, the additional compensation would be disbursed in the near future.
