NCC signs partnership with multinational telecommunications company

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), represented by Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Aminu Maida, alongside the Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijanni, recently concluded a significant partnership with Nokia Solutions and Networks Nigeria. 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) involves the training of young Nigerians in the latest 4G/5G radio and transmission technologies at the Nigerian Communications Commission’s Digital Parks.

With this collaboration, Nokia Nigeria will establish a comprehensive 5G/4G test lab, harnessing cutting-edge radio and transmission technologies to facilitate hands-on learning experiences.

The agreement aligns with the shared vision to bolster the capacity and skill set of Nigerians, bordering on dynamic telecommunication technology.

Furthermore, this initiative will provide top-notch vocational training to about 200 Nigerian students, picked from various regions across the country’s six geopolitical zones, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
