Minimum Wage: FG, Labour to meet on Tuesday

In a bid to end the negatively impacted strike, the Federal Government of Nigeria has asked for another space to meet with Labour unions over the new national minimum wage.

The government made this call through the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), with the meeting scheduled to hold by 10 am on Tuesday.

Following this move, the government is highly concerned about the compliance and participation in the ongoing nationwide strike.

Labour unions had embarked on a nationwide strike, shutting down the nations economy.
