The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has posited that Nigeria is on a greatness journey.
Hon. Kalu made this known in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu during the celebration of 25 years of uninterrupted democratic rule in Nigeria.
He stated that since the return to democracy in 1999, Nigeria’s future has never looked better, believing that the foundations laid in the past 25 years will help the country grow and develop.
According to him, the 25 years of democratic practice is an evidence of redefined leadership and Nigeria’s development.
The Deputy Speaker further reiterated that the House of Representatives, National Assembly is indeed committed to ensuring democratic principles and people-focused legislations.
