Prince Harry set to return to the UK for Invictus Games

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry is set to return to the United Kingdom (UK) to attend a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The British Prince will be at the service of thanksgiving at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 8.

He is also expected to provide a reading at the event, marking a decade since the inaugural Invictus Games 2014 in London, founded as a sporting event for injured and sick military personnel and veterans.

It is not yet confirmed if any other royals will be in attendance at the service, however, Prince Harry will be back in the UK for first time since his visit to see the King in February with regards to his cancer diagnosis.

According to the organizers, it will mark “a decade of changing lives and saving lives through sport”.

Representatives from across the Invictus Games participating nations, including members of the wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veteran community, will also be in attendance.
