Life coach, Public speaker, Lawyer and former Imo state house of assembly speaker, Rt. Hon. Barr. Ike Ibe has cautioned individuals and citizens against envy and the constant fear of failure.
Ibe said this in his ‘Balancing pains and gains’ address on Wednesday in Abuja.
He decried a situation in which Nigerians are scared of falling or failing, stressing that such fear instills envy amongst people, friends, family and even colleagues in a workplace.
According to him, every successful person has a background story, insisting that the success of one should spur another.
“People’s success shouldn’t depress or traumatize anyone. Success on the other hand, should serve as a boost to one’s ego, morale and hard-work.” Hon. Ibe said.
He further emphasized the need to imbibe good qualities and values in people, acknowledging that the individual mind must be filled with wisdom and knowledge.
