Air travel is one of the most convenient means of transportation. 

Although, flying is already expensive, your extra time waiting at the airport can quickly add on extra costs. 

However, before you fly, check out these items that should be avoided at the airport.

Electronics

Did you know that Electronics purchased at the airport will cost you significantly more than the prices outside.

According to travel experts, electronics are 34% more expensive at the airport than what they would be online.

Water or Other Fluids

Yes, we all need to be hydrated when traveling and that’s exactly why it’s advised to bring an empty water bottle so you can just fill it up from any water fountains available.

Food

It’s always better to eat a good meal before you fly. Avoid purchasing food from the airport because it’s usually overpriced or not healthy.

Foreign Currency 

Due to the lack of competition among currency exchange booths at the airport, many travelers are tempted to exchanged currencies at high fees. 

Instead of using exchanging money at an airport, chill and wait until you get to your destination then you can access money through an ATM.

Medication

It’s good to plan properly, especially putting health in consideration before any trip. Most medications have their prices inflated at the airport.

Suitcase or Luggage 

It’s standard procedure that when we travel, we also shop. If a lot of shopping will be done, how about avoiding a purchase of an extra suitcase from the airport.

Of course, the airport would have juicy options but take note that such options are at a premium price.

Chocolate

The temptation from Duty free shops can be hard to avoid. However, if you look well, you’d probably be paying double the price of a chocolate bar at a supermarket.
