Rt. Hon. Ike C. Ibe, a former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, has congratulated Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu on his emergence as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Hon. Ibe praised Nze Chukwu’s leadership qualities, describing his new role as both timely and critical for the unity and progress of the Igbo nation.
He commended Nze Chukwu’s track record of service and commitment to the Igbo cause.
“Your emergence as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is a monumental achievement and a testament to your unwavering dedication to the Igbo cause.
“You have consistently exemplified the virtues of wisdom, integrity, and selfless service, and your leadership journey inspires confidence,” Ibe stated.
The former Speaker also pointed out the personal connection he shares with Nze Chukwu, acknowledging him as a father figure whose mentorship has greatly shaped his own leadership path.
“Your passion and dedication will undoubtedly propel Ohanaeze Ndigbo to greater heights,” he added.
Rt. Hon. Ibe concluded his message by wishing Nze Chukwu success in his new role while praying for divine wisdom and strength to lead effectively.
